Welcome

I am an architect with 14 years of extensive and diverse experience, complemented by 7 years of dedicated work as a project manager.

The opportunity of working on large-scale international projects as lead architect and project manager and collaborating with and leading multi-cultural and interdisciplinaray teams has enabled me to navigate various challenges, from project initiation to completion. My expertise lies in optimizing project workflows and enhancing collaboration, particularly through the application of cutting-edge technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM), which, in my view, is the key of the construction industry's future, enabling us to seamlessly transition from traditional methods to data-driven, efficient, and collaborative processes. My profound commitment to the digitalization of construction projects is not restricted to BIM. Another one of my core focuses is developing parametric and algorithmic tools. These innovative solutions play a critical role in elevating architectural precision and efficiency. They empower us to design with an unprecedented level of accuracy while streamlining workflows, ultimately leading to more sustainable and cost-effective building practices. Through this combination of architectural planning proficiency, project management skills and digitalization expertise, I have cultivated a holistic approach that seamlessly integrates design, execution, and innovation. I am practising as a single person company, currently registered in Austria.

The project, which involved developing, detailing and analyzing the use of photovoltaic panels on steel structures over a surface of 2500 sqm, was my reponsability as project leader and project architect. My tasks included the initial feasability study to assert the efficiency of implementing the PV cover system. This was realised by developing a dedicated software to analyse and output the rate of energy return of each roof, using grasshopper, rhinoscript and ecotect. The preliminary, architectural and detailed design phases of the project were also my responsibility as project manager, leading a team of up to 4 people.

Expertise

My background in project management, architecture, and digitalization within the construction industry brings together a harmonious blend of skills that unite design innovation, precision, and advanced technology, resulting in comprehensive project success.

Project Management

I am a Level D IPMA certified Project Manager.

My passion for technology extends into my management practice, where I use software as a tool to streamline and optimise coordination processes. With the help of well known software programs, such as Microsoft Project, as well as newer tools like Jira, Asana, Miro, but also by programming Excel Macros and Functions, I aim to enhance project coordination and team communication.

Architecture

After finalising my Studies at the Architecture University of Stuttgart, Germany and at the Architectural University of Bucharest, Romania, I became a member of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects (Germany). After practising as an architectural intern and architect in Romania for 3 Years and in Germany for 9 years, I am now active in Austria, since 2020, and have joined the Chamber of Engineering Consultants and Architects Vienna. I have vaste expertise in all phases of projects realisation, with a recent focus on Final design, Building permit application, Execution drawings and Preparation of contracted award.

Digitalisation

In expanding my understanding of construction digitalization, I've been driven by the exploration of areas in project planning and execution where digitalization can yield significant benefits, all while preserving the space for design creativity.

Through the implementation and support of Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies, including the utilization of industry-standard software like Revit and ArchiCAD, I have had the privilege of witnessing the transformative potential of digital tools, such as enhanced collaboration and data sharing and more precise decision-making throughout the project. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to develop customized parametric and digitalization solutions, tailoring these innovations to the unique demands of each project (in Grasshopper, Dynamo). I am a Certified Rhino Trainer and I am passionate about sharing my expertise to support the teams with which I collaborate on the path to digitalisation.
